Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, January 2026 — Viral Shah, PMP® has been appointed as Director at Apollo Global Management, Inc., based in Mumbai. In his new role, he will contribute to product operations and data warehousing initiatives, supporting strategic technology and data-driven programs across the organization’s investment and financial platforms.
Viral brings nearly two decades of experience spanning capital markets, trading systems, and enterprise technology functions. In his current role at Apollo Global Management, Inc., he is focused on strengthening data-led product operations and supporting scalable technology initiatives aligned with the firm’s global investment strategy.
Prior to this appointment, he spent over a decade with The Clearing Corporation of India Limited (CCIL). Most recently, he served as Senior Business Analyst, where he led end-to-end project delivery across regulatory and business enhancements. His responsibilities included product ownership for multi-asset market surveillance systems, stakeholder management, vendor coordination, and the delivery of complex technology programs supporting foreign exchange, interest rate derivatives, and government securities markets.
Earlier at CCIL, Viral held roles including Deputy Manager, contributing to trading and post-trade technology initiatives and supporting mission-critical market infrastructure systems.
Before joining CCIL, he was associated with Kotak Mahindra General Insurance Ltd., where he handled IT project delivery and acted as a bridge between business users and technology teams. He also worked with Ace Derivatives & Commodity Exchange Ltd. as Senior Manager, supporting business analysis and technology change initiatives for trading platforms.
In the earlier stages of his career, Viral held technology and systems roles at CMC LTD, Symphony Fintech Solutions Pvt Ltd, and NSE India InfoTech Services, building a strong foundation in trading systems, capital markets technology, and enterprise software delivery.
