Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, February 2026 — Symphony Limited, a global leader in evaporative air-cooling solutions, has appointed Gaurav Sarda as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). In his new role, Gaurav will lead the company’s overall marketing strategy, brand direction, consumer engagement initiatives, and go-to-market programs as Symphony strengthens its leadership position in India and global markets.
With over two decades of experience across marketing leadership, brand strategy, GTM execution, customer experience, and growth-led business transformation, Gaurav is widely recognised for building strong consumer brands and scaling businesses across multiple categories including home improvement, real estate, and flooring.
Before taking up his current leadership role at Symphony Limited, Gaurav Sarda has built a strong multi-sector track record that blends brand building with business ownership and execution.
In the months leading up to his current role, he worked as a Freelance Consultant for close to a year, where he supported organisations with strategic advisory across marketing, branding, and growth acceleration.
Prior to that, Gaurav spent over two years with Welspun Global Brands Ltd, where he led critical roles across both marketing and business operations. He served as Head of Marketing, Domestic Business, and subsequently as Head of Sales & Customer Service, Domestic Flooring, strengthening customer engagement, expanding domestic growth levers, and driving execution at scale.
Before Welspun Global Brands, he was the Chief Marketing Officer at Welspun Flooring for nearly two years, where he led brand strategy, marketing transformation, and customer growth initiatives in a highly competitive consumer category.
A major phase of Gaurav’s career was shaped at Lodha Group, where he served for about three years as Head of Marketing, Affordable & Mid-Income Business. In this role, he contributed to building customer-centric brand campaigns, enhancing demand generation, and aligning marketing strategy with rapid expansion of housing and community offerings.
Earlier, he spent over 12 years at Asian Paints, rising through multiple roles including Area Manager, Area Manager Project Sales (South India), Brand Manager, and later Group Brand Manager. At Asian Paints, he built deep expertise in brand management, consumer insights, product lifecycle management, distribution strategy, trade marketing, and new product development, anchoring some of the most respected brand-building and growth models in India.
Gaurav holds a PGDM in Management from Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM Ahmedabad), strengthening his foundation in strategic leadership, marketing excellence, and business transformation.
