Zurich, Zurich, Switzerland, February 2026 — Nikolas Radtke has started a new role as Head of People Strategy & Insights at Swiss International Air Lines. In this role, he is responsible for shaping the airline’s people strategy through data-driven insights, workforce analytics, and strategic alignment of human capital initiatives with business priorities.
In his new mandate, Nikolas will focus on strengthening evidence-based decision-making across the people function, enabling leadership with strategic insights, and supporting long-term workforce planning at SWISS. His appointment reflects the airline’s continued focus on integrating people strategy with operational excellence and organizational performance.
Prior to this appointment, Nikolas served as Manager HR Communication at Swiss International Air Lines, where he played a key role in driving internal communication strategies and engagement initiatives. Before rejoining SWISS, he held senior communications roles within the Lufthansa Group, including Manager Communications Cabin Crew at Lufthansa and Manager Operations Communications at Eurowings, supporting large, operationally complex workforce environments.
Earlier in his career, Nikolas built deep frontline and operational experience at Swiss International Air Lines as a Cabin Crew Member and Freelance Cabin Crew Member, complemented by an early role as Intern Operations Communications. This combination of operational aviation exposure and strategic communications leadership brings a distinctive, end-to-end perspective to his people strategy role at SWISS.
