Chicago, Illinois, United States, February 2026 — Carrie Caldarola has started a new role as Head of People – US Audit and Assurance at KPMG. In this leadership role, she will oversee the people strategy for KPMG’s US Audit and Assurance practice, supporting talent, culture, and workforce initiatives across one of the firm’s largest service lines.
Carrie brings over 17 years of deep institutional experience at KPMG, having most recently served as Executive Director, Talent & Culture – Strategic Process Enablement. In this capacity, she played a key role in strengthening people processes, enabling strategic transformation, and aligning talent frameworks with evolving business needs.
Earlier at KPMG, she held a series of progressive leadership roles including Executive Director and Senior Director, National Tax HR, Director, National Tax HR, and Associate Director, National Tax HR, building extensive expertise across talent strategy, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness. Her long-standing contributions have helped shape people programs across multiple national practices.
Prior to her tenure at KPMG, Carrie held HR leadership and specialist roles at West Monroe Partners, Aon, and earlier in her career at Arthur Andersen. This blend of consulting, professional services, and large-scale enterprise HR experience positions her well to lead people strategy for KPMG’s Audit and Assurance business.
