Miami, Florida, United States, February 2026 — Ricardo Vazquez has started a new role as Vice President of Talent and Culture at LionGrove, LLC, where he leads the people strategy across a portfolio of luxury resort properties. In this role, he oversees multi-property People & Culture operations, drives leadership development and cultural initiatives, and supports Directors of People & Culture to ensure alignment and operational excellence across locations.
Prior to joining LionGrove, Ricardo served as Director of Human Resources at The Ritz-Carlton Naples, Tiburon, where he led management recruiting, employee relations, engagement initiatives, and employee development while supporting all core human capital processes. Before that, he spent over five years as Director of Human Resources at Zadun, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, strengthening HR operations, engagement, and development frameworks within a luxury hospitality environment.
Earlier, he held senior HR leadership roles at Dorado Beach, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve and JW Marriott Mexico City, where he managed full HR department operations including recruitment, benefits, training and development, associate and union relations, and legal HR matters. During this period, he also served as Director of Operations of Human Resources at JW Marriott Mexico City and contributed academically as a faculty member at Universidad TecMilenio, teaching project management and research methodology.
Ricardo’s broader career includes leadership positions at JW Marriott Cancun Resort & Spa, Marriott CasaMagna Cancun Resort, and Alterego Lifestyle & Entertainment, where he combined HR and operational management responsibilities. He began his professional journey in customer service leadership at Radiomóvil Dipsa, S.A. de C.V., building a strong foundation in service excellence that continues to shape his hospitality-focused people leadership approach.
