Nairobi, Kenya, February 2026 — Kenya Wine Agencies Limited – KWAL has announced the appointment of Stephen Mokaya as People Director, strengthening the company’s leadership team as it continues to build a high-performance culture aligned with its strategic growth ambitions.
Stephen Mokaya joins KWAL with extensive cross-regional human resources leadership experience spanning East and Southern Africa, the Middle East, North Africa, and Turkey. Most recently, he held senior HR leadership roles at Nestlé, where he led talent strategy and HR business partnering across multiple African and EMENA clusters. During his tenure, he played a key role in organizational development, integrated talent management, and large-scale people transformation initiatives.
Prior to Nestlé, Stephen worked as a Human Resource Consultant at Adept Systems and served in HR roles at Action Against Hunger (ACF-USA), building a strong foundation in stakeholder management and operational HR excellence. At KWAL, he is expected to enhance the company’s winning culture by aligning people strategies, policies, and processes with organizational values and long-term objectives.
