In this position, she will lead a unified global team shaping how Thomson Reuters engages the market, communicates its brand story, and delivers meaningful customer experiences, as the company accelerates purpose-built AI innovation across its portfolio.
Amy Messano has been with Thomson Reuters in senior communications leadership, most recently serving as Chief Communications Officer, where she led corporate communications for the company’s global AI-driven technology and content platform. Her expanded mandate builds on this foundation, positioning her to integrate marketing and communications strategy at a pivotal moment in the company’s growth.
Prior to joining Thomson Reuters, Messano spent nearly seven years at Altair as Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Communications Officer, leading a global marketing organization focused on brand transformation and storytelling around advanced software solutions. She also held senior marketing and communications leadership roles at Aptiv and Delphi Automotive, where she played a key role in major brand rollouts, integrated communications strategies, and high-impact global campaigns.
Earlier in her career, Messano held multiple marketing and public relations leadership roles at Microsoft, driving award-winning campaigns across small and midsize business segments. She began her professional journey in communications and media relations roles with organizations including DTE Energy and other communications firms, building deep expertise in corporate communications and brand strategy.
