Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, United States, October 2025 — Carrier, a global leader in intelligent climate and energy solutions, has announced the appointment of Andrea Pinnarelli as Vice President, Human Resources – Climate Solutions Transportation and Global Functions. In his new role, Andrea will lead global HR strategies across Carrier’s Climate Solutions Transportation business and corporate functions, supporting the company’s continued transformation and growth in sustainable technologies.
Andrea brings more than two decades of global human resources experience, having held leadership roles across the manufacturing, industrial, and energy sectors. Prior to joining Carrier, he served as Vice President, Human Resources, Mills at Smurfit WestRock, where he led HR integration and organizational development initiatives following the company’s merger.
Before that, Andrea spent nearly two years at WestRock Company as Vice President, Human Resources – Consumer Packaging, where he oversaw people strategies across large-scale operations in the packaging sector. Earlier, he spent over five years with Baker Hughes, progressing through multiple leadership positions, including Vice President, Human Resources – Digital Solutions, and VP, Organization, Talent Management & Global Operations HR, driving workforce transformation and digital capability building across global operations.
Andrea’s career began at GE Oil & Gas, where he spent more than a decade in various HR leadership roles across Italy, the United Kingdom, and the United States, including responsibilities for global services and sourcing. He also served as Plant HR Manager at Indesit Company, where he gained deep experience in industrial relations and operational HR management.
At Carrier, Andrea will focus on advancing people and culture strategies that align with the company’s purpose of creating healthier, more sustainable environments worldwide. His leadership will play a pivotal role in strengthening organizational capability, enhancing talent development, and driving employee engagement across global teams.
