Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, February 2026 – Rahul Shrivastava has stepped into an expanded leadership role as Chief Development Officer (CDO) at Sobha Realty, where he will now spearhead the company’s strategic expansion into the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. In this capacity, he will lead large-scale development initiatives and bring Sobha’s signature “Art of the Detail” philosophy to the capital’s evolving skyline.
Prior to this expanded mandate, Rahul Shrivastava served as Senior Vice President – Operations at Sobha Realty, overseeing multi-emirate operations across Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Ras Al Khaimah. Before that, he held the role of Vice President – Projects, driving execution excellence across major developments.
Earlier, as General Manager – Projects | Group MD & CEO’s Office, he monitored and oversaw master developments including Hartland Extension, Hartland 2, Sobha Reserve and Sobha One, and spearheaded strategic initiatives such as property acquisitions, company establishments, and the operationalization of Sobha’s modular factories and automated furniture manufacturing units in RAK and Abu Dhabi.
Before rejoining Sobha Group, he was Senior Projects Manager at Airolink International Construction LLC, leading landmark projects such as Seven Palm Residences at Palm Jumeirah and Art of Living Mall in Al Barsha. His earlier leadership roles included Area Manager – Projects at Al Faisaliyah Contracting LLC, and multiple project leadership assignments at Sobha Engineering & Contracting LLC, where he delivered major developments including Hyatt Hotel Port Views, Hartland International School, Meydan Hotel suites, and District One in MBR City.
He began his UAE career at Hi-Tech Group and earlier trained with Gammon India Ltd, building expertise across infrastructure, utilities, hospitality and mixed-use developments. He holds an MBA in Advanced Construction Management with specialization in Real Estate from NICMAR University.
