Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, March 2026 — Pooja Hegde has started a new role as Organizational Development Specialist at Škoda Auto Volkswagen India Private Limited, marking a strategic transition within the Group’s HR leadership structure.
In her new position at Škoda Auto Volkswagen India Private Limited (SAVWIPL), Pooja will focus on strengthening organizational design, leadership capability, workforce architecture, and people development frameworks across the Group’s multi-brand portfolio. Her move reflects the company’s continued emphasis on structured growth, talent capability building, and cross-brand HR integration.
Prior to this role, Pooja served as Head of Human Resources (Sales & Marketing) at SAVWIPL from 2021 to 2025, where she led people strategy across ŠKODA, Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche, and Lamborghini in India. During this phase of portfolio expansion and organizational transformation, she drove manpower planning across brands, refined leadership hiring processes, strengthened performance management systems, enhanced engagement frameworks, and supported HRIS and SAP improvements to elevate operational efficiency.
Earlier, as Deputy General Manager – Human Resources, she operated as HR Business Partner for Volkswagen and Group Aftersales. She led workforce planning initiatives, strengthened capability development programs, refined performance review cycles, and reinforced HR governance for customer-facing business units.
Before her long tenure with the automotive group, Pooja held HR leadership roles at Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited, where she partnered with business and programming heads across ZEE TV, ZEE Cinema, and ZEE Marathi to drive manpower planning, hiring, learning initiatives, and performance processes. She also built early career experience at Taj Hotels and Future Group India, developing expertise in retail and hospitality HR operations, talent acquisition, and HR administration.
With over 14 years of progressive HR leadership experience spanning automotive, media, hospitality, and retail sectors, Pooja Hegde’s transition into an Organizational Development-focused role reflects her depth in workforce planning, role architecture, succession planning, and people analytics.
