Mumbai Metropolitan Region, Maharashtra, India, June 2026 — Mars has appointed Suchindra Khaidem as Director, Digital Technologies – India and Data & Analytics – AMEA Region for Mars Snacking. In this dual leadership role, he will serve as the Chief Information Officer for the combined legacy Mars and Kellanova businesses in India while also leading Data & Analytics across the Asia Pacific, Middle East, and Africa (AMEA) region.
As part of his expanded mandate, Suchindra will focus on integrating the digital capabilities of Mars and Kellanova, strengthening technology-driven business transformation, building robust data foundations across the AMEA region, and accelerating the adoption of advanced analytics to support growth, innovation, and decision-making. His appointment represents a significant step in bringing together the strengths, cultures, people, and iconic brands of both organizations as they continue building a stronger and more integrated snacking business.
Prior to assuming this role, Suchindra served as Director – IT South Asia & Head – Data & Analytics AMEA Region at Kellanova. As CIO for Kellanova India, he led the organization’s technology strategy and digital transformation agenda, ensuring that systems, platforms, and processes effectively supported business objectives. He also headed the AMEA Data & Analytics Center of Excellence, driving data-led business initiatives and strengthening analytics capabilities across multiple markets.
Earlier, Suchindra held leadership positions at Tata Consumer Products, where he served as Director & Head – Digital at NourishCo Beverages, Tata Coffee, and New Businesses. During his tenure, he played a key role in enabling the rapid growth of NourishCo through digital transformation initiatives, led technology modernization programs across Tata Coffee’s operations, and drove the adoption of emerging technologies including drone-enabled plantation management. He also contributed significantly to the restructuring and integration initiatives that supported the creation and growth of Tata Consumer Products.
Before that, he served as Head – Digital Transformation at Tata Chemicals, where he established the company’s first dedicated Digital Transformation function. He led strategic initiatives focused on supply chain optimization, sales and distribution effectiveness, marketing transformation, and business integration programs, including the merger of Tata Chemicals’ consumer products business with Tata Global Beverages to create Tata Consumer Products.
Earlier in his career, Suchindra spent nearly five years with Pidilite Industries in leadership positions spanning sales automation and enterprise applications. He played an important role in strengthening digital capabilities, driving sales automation adoption, enhancing data quality, and supporting large-scale technology implementation programs. Prior to Pidilite, he held various leadership and management roles at Tata Motors and Tata International, gaining extensive experience across sales, exports, business process transformation, technology implementation, and operational excellence.
An alumnus of SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), Suchindra brings more than two decades of experience spanning digital transformation, information technology leadership, enterprise platforms, analytics, automation, business integration, and strategic technology management. His expertise positions him well to drive Mars’ digital and analytics agenda across India and the AMEA region while supporting the continued integration and growth of the combined Mars and Kellanova snacking business.
