Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, March 2026 — R R Kabel Limited has appointed Kamaljeet Kaur as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). Based in Mumbai, Kaur joins the wires and cables major to lead its people agenda, drawing on extensive leadership experience across people strategy, business partnering, and enterprise HR transformation.
Before taking on the CHRO role at R R Kabel Limited, Kamaljeet Kaur completed a career break (May 2025 to February 2026) focused on wellbeing and renewal, alongside independent HR consulting assignments. During this transition phase, she supported an HR digital transformation for an agriculture and seeds company across 19 entities, mentored a startup HR firm on scaling and business acquisition strategies, and advised an Indian listed company on setting up HR processes and scaling its HR function.
Prior to her career break, Kaur served as Chief People Officer at Gensol Group (July 2023 to April 2025). Earlier, she spent over six years with Sterlite Power, including as Director and Group Chief Human Resources Officer (June 2022 to July 2023), Chief Human Resource Officer (May 2021 to June 2022), and in leadership roles across global infrastructure HR and HR business partnering.
She also held the position of Chief Human Resources Officer at Serentica (September 2021 to July 2023). Earlier in her career, she served as Assistant Vice President – Human Resources at Jubilant FoodWorks Ltd., Assistant General Manager at HeidelbergCement, Regional Service Manager – Human Resources at HDFC Bank, Regional L&D Specialist (EMEAI) at Wrigley, and began her early leadership journey with Hero MotoCorp Ltd.
