Manila, Philippines, April 2026 – Holcim Philippines Inc. has announced the appointment of Mohit Kapoor as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), marking a key leadership transition as the company continues to strengthen its position as a leader in sustainable construction. Kapoor takes on this role following the successful completion of his tenure as CEO of Bamburi Cement, where he led the organization through a period of strong performance and strategic transformation.
Reflecting on his transition, Mohit Kapoor highlighted the successful journey at Bamburi Cement, where he worked closely with the team and Board to deliver strong results and navigate the transition from Holcim Group to Amsons Group, positioning the company for its next phase of growth.
Prior to this appointment, Mohit Kapoor served as Country CEO (Kenya) at Bamburi Cement PLC, where he led the organization for over three years, driving business performance and managing a critical ownership transition while strengthening operational and strategic capabilities.
Earlier, he was Country CEO – Qatar at Holcim, where he led joint venture businesses across cement, ready-mix concrete, and aggregates, contributing to business growth and operational excellence in the region.
Before this, Kapoor held the role of Head – Growth & Innovation (India) at Holcim, where he supported commercial transformation initiatives, drove customer-centric strategies, and contributed to innovation-led growth across key business segments.
He also spent over 15 years with LafargeHolcim, where he held multiple leadership roles including Managing Director – Ready Mix Projects, Vice President – Health & Safety (APAC), and Vice President – Logistics. During this period, he led large-scale transformation initiatives, built new business verticals, and drove operational excellence across multiple geographies.
Kapoor began his career with Holtec Consulting Private Limited, where he worked in business strategy consulting, advising leading cement companies across India and international markets on growth strategy, optimization, and organizational transformation.
He has further strengthened his leadership capabilities through executive education at HEC Paris and INSEAD, equipping him with global leadership perspectives.
