Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, April 2026 – Croma, a leading consumer electronics and durables retailer, has announced the appointment of Suman Guha as Chief Digital Officer (CDO). In this role, Suman will lead the company’s digital and technology agenda, driving innovation and enhancing omnichannel customer experiences as Croma continues to evolve in the digital-first retail landscape.
The organization emphasized its strong position at the center of omnichannel retail and highlighted the opportunity to reimagine digital and technology capabilities to better serve customers.
Prior to joining Croma, Suman Guha served as Chief Product & Technology Officer at TATA CLIQ, where he led large-scale technology, product, UX, and data functions, building high-performing teams and driving digital transformation across the platform.
He also held a dual leadership role at Tata Digital as CTO at Tata CLiQ and Head of Integrated Technology Organization, where he played a pivotal role in strengthening technology capabilities and enabling synergy across platforms.
Earlier, Suman was Chief Product & Technology Officer at Reliance Retail (Fashion, Sports & Beauty), where he led digital transformation initiatives, including the launch of new platforms and the development of composable commerce architecture to scale operations efficiently.
His experience also includes leadership roles at Cisco, where he led platform engineering for a multi-billion-dollar product portfolio, and at Tesco, where he drove one of the largest digital transformations, transitioning legacy systems into modern SaaS-based commerce platforms.
Suman began his career with roles at Teradata, Red Hat, and earlier technology startups, building deep expertise in cloud computing, product engineering, and large-scale digital platforms. In his current role at Croma, he is leading end-to-end digital and technology functions including product, engineering, UX, data, infrastructure, and operations.
