Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, April 2026 – Novopor Advanced Science Private Limited has announced the appointment of Srinivasa Rao Pothabattula as Senior Vice President – Strategic Partnerships & Corporate Strategy. In this role, Srinivasa will lead the development and execution of the company’s strategic partnerships and growth initiatives within the Performance & Specialty Chemicals segment, focusing on identifying, evaluating, and advancing new opportunities to support Novopor’s long-term growth agenda.
Prior to joining Novopor, Srinivasa Rao Pothabattula spent over a decade with Evonik India Pvt. Ltd., where he most recently served as Senior Director – Head of Regional Development, India Subcontinent. In this role, he was responsible for shaping India’s growth roadmap, leading strategic partnerships including greenfield investments, joint ventures, and M&A, and driving initiatives in sustainability, licensing, and contract manufacturing.
Earlier at Evonik, he held roles as Head of Regional Development India Subcontinent and Director – Business Development, where he played a pivotal role in expanding business opportunities and strengthening the company’s presence in the region.
Before this, Srinivasa worked with Reliance, where he served as Vice President – Strategy & Business Development (Petrochemicals), leading multiple growth initiatives and contributing to the development of differentiated, sustainable, and high-margin projects. He also held progressive roles including Senior General Manager and Deputy General Manager – Business Development, driving strategic initiatives across the petrochemicals business.
His earlier career includes roles at Spice Energy, Essar Oil Ltd, and The Andhra Petrochemicals Ltd, where he built strong expertise in process engineering, project management, and business development. He began his career as a Graduate Engineer Trainee at Sree Rayalaseema Paper Mills Ltd, laying the foundation for his technical and operational expertise.
Srinivasa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Andhra University, equipping him with strong technical and strategic capabilities in the chemicals and materials science domain.
