Brossard, Quebec, Canada, April 2026 – Julie Trudel has been promoted to Chief People and Culture Officer at Novacap, recognizing her impactful contributions to the firm’s talent strategy and organizational growth since joining in 2022.
Julie has played a pivotal role in shaping and advancing Novacap’s people agenda, guiding the organization through a phase of transformational growth while fostering a strong, inclusive, and high-performance culture. Her promotion underscores the firm’s continued commitment to a people-first approach as it scales its operations and strengthens its leadership capabilities.
At Novacap, Julie’s journey reflects a steady progression of leadership impact. She initially joined as Director, Human Resources, where she contributed to building foundational HR capabilities. She was subsequently promoted to Senior Director, Human Resources, taking on broader responsibilities in talent strategy and organizational development, before stepping into her current role as Chief People and Culture Officer, leading the firm’s overall people and culture strategy.
Prior to Novacap, she served as Head of Human Resources at Clareo | Réseau Dentaire, where she led HR initiatives focused on employee engagement, talent development, and organizational effectiveness.
Earlier, she held the role of Senior HR Business Partner at Biron Groupe Santé, supporting business leaders in driving HR strategy and workforce planning.
She also gained experience as an HR Generalist at Eurovia Québec, building strong expertise in core HR operations and employee lifecycle management.
A significant part of her early career was with Laurentian Bank of Canada, where she held multiple roles across organizational development, HR advisory, and talent acquisition, developing a well-rounded foundation in HR across corporate environments.
She began her career as a Recruiter at Dotemtex, gaining early exposure to talent acquisition and executive search.
With a diverse background spanning financial services, healthcare, infrastructure, and professional services, Julie brings deep expertise in HR transformation, organizational development, and talent strategy.
