Seattle, Washington, United States, April 2026 – Rajeev Rajan has joined Stripe as Business Lead for its Revenue and Financial Automation (RFA) division, taking on a strategic role to drive growth and innovation across one of the company’s most critical platforms.
In this role, Rajeev will lead a significant part of the business with responsibilities spanning product and engineering, while closely partnering with sales and marketing teams to scale Stripe’s platform globally. The RFA suite plays a pivotal role in enabling modern businesses to manage the full lifecycle of revenue—from payments and billing to tax, invoicing, and revenue recognition—especially as subscription and usage-based models continue to grow.
The recent acquisition of Metronome further strengthens Stripe’s RFA platform by adding advanced usage-based billing capabilities, empowering companies to monetize modern products with real-time metering and flexible pricing models.
Prior to joining Stripe, Rajeev served as Chief Technology Officer at Atlassian, where he led global engineering efforts and played a key role in driving product innovation and scaling technology platforms for millions of users worldwide.
Earlier, he spent nearly five years at Facebook (now Meta), where he held multiple senior leadership roles including Vice President, Engineering and Head of Engineering for the Facebook App & Video. During his tenure, he led large-scale engineering teams and contributed to the development and scaling of core consumer products.
Rajeev also had an extensive career spanning over two decades at Microsoft, where he held several leadership roles including Corporate Vice President, Office 365. He was instrumental in building and scaling enterprise-grade platforms such as Office 365, Exchange, and SQL Server, contributing significantly to Microsoft’s cloud and productivity ecosystem.
He holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from The Ohio State University, further underpinning his strong technical foundation and leadership in engineering and product development.
With over 30 years of experience across leading global technology companies, Rajeev brings deep expertise in engineering leadership, product innovation, and scaling complex platforms, positioning him to drive the next phase of growth for Stripe’s RFA business.
