Gurugram, Haryana, India, April 2026 — Sonia Kapoor has started a new position as Associate Director Human Resources at Forvis Mazars US. Her appointment marks an important leadership move in her HR career and brings a seasoned people professional to the organization as it continues to strengthen its talent and human resources capabilities.
Before joining Forvis Mazars US, Sonia Kapoor built a long and progressive career at Integrated Resources, Inc. (IRI), where she spent more than eleven years across multiple HR leadership roles. Most recently, she served as Assistant General Manager Human Resources, after previously holding the positions of Senior Manager Human Resources and Human Resources Manager. Across these roles, she contributed to the HR function in a growing workforce solutions organization and built strong experience across payroll, communication, talent processes, and people operations.
Alongside her corporate journey, she also served as Council Member – Haryana Human Resources at WICCI – Women’s Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. This role reflected her wider engagement with HR and women’s leadership initiatives, and added another dimension to her people leadership profile.
Earlier in her career, Sonia Kapoor worked as Senior Executive at Accor and before that as Assistant Manager Human Resources at Sarovar Hotels & Resorts. These assignments gave her early exposure to human resources in the hospitality sector and helped build the operational and employee-facing foundation of her HR journey.
Her overall career reflects strong progression across hospitality, staffing, workforce solutions, and HR leadership environments. With experience spanning employee relations, payroll, communication, and broader human resources management, Sonia Kapoor brings a well-rounded and practical HR perspective to her new role at Forvis Mazars US.
Sonia Kapoor also holds a Certification in Talent Management and Human Resources Development from XLRI Jamshedpur, adding further strength to her professional and academic HR foundation.
