Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, April 2026 — Tata Trusts has promoted Divyang W. to the role of Deputy Head of Programmes, recognizing his long-standing contribution to social development and program leadership within the organization.
This elevation comes as Tata Trusts continues to expand its impact across multiple sectors, and Divyang’s appointment reflects the organization’s commitment to strengthening leadership in its programme delivery and strategic initiatives.
In his new role, Divyang will support the overall programmes agenda, driving scale, impact, and innovation across development initiatives, while contributing to the Trusts’ mission of catalyzing sustainable social change across India.
Divyang has been associated with Tata Trusts for over 17 years, during which he has held multiple leadership roles and contributed significantly to the organization’s programme strategy and execution.
Most recently, he served as Head (WaSH), where he led initiatives in Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene, focusing on large-scale implementation, behavior change communication, and social impact measurement. His work in this domain has contributed to improving community health outcomes and strengthening sustainable infrastructure across regions.
Earlier, he held roles such as Assistant Development Manager and Senior Programme Associate at Tata Trusts, building strong expertise in programme management, design thinking, and development finance.
In parallel, Divyang has held leadership positions outside the Trusts, including serving as Director at Coastal Salinity Prevention Cell (CSPC) and Vijayavahini Charitable Foundation, contributing to governance and strategic oversight in the non-profit sector. He also served as Executive Director at Coastal Salinity Prevention Cell, driving key environmental and community-focused initiatives.
Prior to Tata Trusts, he worked with the Water and Sanitation Management Organisation, where he served as Senior Manager (Project & Finance), gaining valuable experience in programme implementation, capacity building, and financial management.
Divyang holds an MBA in Finance from S K Patel Institute of Management, providing him with a strong foundation in financial and programmatic strategy.
