Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, India, April 2026 — Dabur India Limited has appointed Herjit S. Bhalla as Chief Executive Officer – India Business, strengthening its leadership team as the company continues to grow its domestic FMCG business across health, wellness, personal care, food, beverages, and Ayurveda-led consumer categories.
According to the company’s leadership update, Herjit S. Bhalla has taken charge as CEO – India Business and will report to Mohit Malhotra, Whole-time Director and Global Chief Executive Officer of Dabur India Limited. The appointment marks an important leadership move for Dabur as it sharpens focus on India operations and category-led growth.
Herjit S. Bhalla brings more than 25 years of leadership experience across FMCG, consumer goods, sales, marketing, customer development, commercial strategy, and regional business leadership. His career spans senior roles with The Hershey Company, METRO Cash & Carry India, and Hindustan Unilever Ltd, where he led businesses across India, Canada, AMEA, AEMEA, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, and other markets.
Before joining Dabur India Limited, Herjit held multiple senior leadership roles at The Hershey Company. He served as Vice President – Canada & Global Customers, Vice President – Canada & AMEA, Vice President – India and AEMEA, and Managing Director – India. Across these roles, he led regional and country-level businesses across markets including India, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, Africa, Europe, and Canada.
Earlier, Herjit served as Chief Operating Officer – North & East at METRO Cash & Carry India Private Limited, where he led growth and expansion initiatives across key markets in North and East India. He was also a member of the company’s Executive Board of Directors, contributing to the growth trajectory of METRO India.
Herjit spent more than 16 years with Hindustan Unilever Ltd, where he held several leadership roles across sales, marketing, customer development, and brand management. He served as General Manager – Customer Development North, leading a large team and driving significant turnover across the region. He also worked as Marketing Director – Foods, Russia, Ukraine & Belarus, managing a multi-brand portfolio across tea, savoury, and spreads categories.
His earlier roles at Hindustan Unilever Ltd included Regional Customer Marketing Manager, Regional Sales & Customer Manager, Brand Manager – Beverages, Area Sales Manager – Foods, and Business Leadership Trainee. Across these assignments, he worked on brand growth, market expansion, retail execution, channel programs, customer marketing, regional sales, product launches, and portfolio development.
