Dubai, United Arab Emirates, April 2026 — Mohamad El-Majzoub has taken on a new role as Head of Sales & Business Development, New Building Solutions – Middle East, Turkey & Africa at KONE, marking a significant leadership move within the company’s regional business operations.
In his new role, Mohamad El-Majzoub will lead sales and business development for New Building Solutions across the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa. His appointment reflects his strong regional experience across building solutions, HVAC, water heating, pumps, valves, piping systems, channel development, operations, and business growth across the GCC, Middle East, and Africa markets.
Before assuming this leadership role, Mohamad served as Business Development & Sales Manager – New Building Solutions at KONE, based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. In this position, he contributed to the company’s new building solutions business, supporting sales growth, client engagement, and regional business development priorities.
Prior to joining KONE, Mohamad worked with Apex Engineering for General Trading as Regional Business Development Manager in the United Arab Emirates. The company represents several American and European building solutions manufacturers in areas such as fire pumps, domestic pumps, valves, GRP tanks, and refrigeration and cooling accessories. Mohamad had also co-founded Apex Engineering in Kuwait in 2018, where he served as Chief Operations Officer / Co-Founder, managing daily operations, executive functions, and relationships with partners and principals.
Earlier, Mohamad served as Business Manager – Middle East & Africa at Rheem Manufacturing, based in Dubai. He led the regional team and was responsible for the Middle East and African markets. During his tenure, he orchestrated the water heating business unit and contributed to the entity being identified as Rheem’s fastest-growing international water heating business in 2021.
Mohamad also held the role of Business Unit Manager – Kuwait at Carrier Corporation, where he led a team and managed the residential and light commercial HVAC business unit, covering mini split, ducted split, package rooftop units, and VRF solutions. His work included strengthening channel partnerships, winning major projects, and focusing on business sustainability and profitability.
His earlier career includes over a decade as Regional Manager – GCC at Aqua Techniques Mechanical Engineering S.A.R.L, where he supported business development for European partners in the GCC region across building water and chilled water piping solutions, fixation systems, valves, and remote monitoring and control. He also worked as Engineering Manager – UAE at Aquagas Plastic Industries LLC, contributing to the company’s early growth in water piping, fixation, and wastewater treatment solutions.
