Jagsonpal Pharmaceuticals Ltd. has promoted D N Rao to the prestigious position of Head—HR -OD and Commercial Excellence. With a formidable career spanning more than thirty years in the pharmaceutical industry, Rao’s appointment is a strategic move to bolster the company’s leadership team.
D N Rao began his tenure at Jagsonpal Pharmaceuticals in October 2020, quickly proving his mettle by spearheading significant improvements in HR and organizational development.
Before joining Jagsonpal, Rao served as the Director of HR at Adronaa HR (part of Azkka HR Services) in Ahmedabad, where he was involved from April 2017 until October 2020. His skills in training and development were particularly noted during his time there.
Prior to that, Rao enriched Emcure Pharmaceuticals Limited with his expertise from October 2013 to January 2016. As Director of HRD, he focused on employee retention, training, talent development, and fostering a learning culture within the organization.
His role as Vice President of HR at Cadila Pharmaceuticals for a brief period in 2013 involved OD, culture building, employee engagement, and various strategic HR initiatives.
D N Rao also had significant stints at Torrent Pharmaceuticals and SUN PHARMA. At Torrent, he was the General Manager of HRD from November 2004 to January 2013, where he was instrumental in human resources management and developing the company’s organizational culture. His earlier experience at SUN PHARMA as Deputy General Manager of Training and Development further solidified his expertise in the field.
