Dhaka, Bangladesh, May 2026 — Anubhab Rahman has been appointed as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Nagad, marking a significant leadership addition as the organization continues to scale its digital financial services footprint across Bangladesh.
In his new role, Anubhab will lead the people strategy, organizational transformation, and culture-building initiatives, supporting Nagad’s ambition to become a leading digital banking ecosystem aligned with national development goals.
Prior to joining Nagad, Anubhab Rahman served as Human Resources Director at Daffodil Group, where he played a pivotal role in establishing KPI-driven performance systems, implementing HRIS platforms, and strengthening employer branding initiatives across a diverse group of institutions.
Earlier, he spent nearly seven years at Eastern Bank PLC as Head of Organization Development and Capacity Enhancement, where he led large-scale initiatives including competency framework design, performance management systems, employee engagement programs, and leadership development for a workforce of over 3,000 employees across 100+ locations.
He also held leadership roles at Fortis Healthcare, where he led HR transformation and policy development across multiple business units, and at NRB Bank Limited, where he played a foundational role in building HR frameworks, performance systems, and organizational processes during the bank’s early growth phase.
In the early stages of his career, Anubhab gained extensive experience across HR operations, talent acquisition, and learning & development at Bank Asia Limited and Save the Children Australia, building a strong foundation in HR strategy, stakeholder management, and organizational effectiveness.
Anubhab Rahman is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management from Texas Tech University, further strengthening his expertise in modern HR practices and global people strategies.
