Pune, Maharashtra, India, May 2026 — Tata Motors Global Services Limited (TMGSL) has appointed Ranvir Salaria as General Manager – Head HR & HR COE Leader, marking a significant milestone in his extensive human resources leadership journey within the Tata ecosystem. In this elevated role, Ranvir will lead strategic HR transformation, talent management, organizational capability building, and Centre of Excellence initiatives as TMGSL continues to strengthen its role as the strategic backbone of Tata Motors’ enterprise-wide transformation.
Prior to this appointment, Ranvir served as HR COE Leader & Ethics Counsellor for Tata Motors Digital.AI Labs and Tata Motors Global Services Ltd, where he played a key role in driving HR excellence, governance, ethics, and people strategy.
During his nearly seven-year tenure at Tata Motors, he also held leadership responsibilities as HR Leader and Talent Acquisition Leader for Electric Vehicles, R&D, Commercial Vehicles, and Passenger Vehicles, where he led executive, lateral, and campus hiring strategies aligned with the company’s evolving innovation agenda.
Before joining Tata Motors, Ranvir held senior talent acquisition leadership roles at PwC India, where he served as National Talent Acquisition Leader across six business units, and at Deloitte India, where he led regional talent acquisition, shared services, and talent initiatives.
Earlier in his career, he built strong expertise in HR and recruitment leadership through positions at Birlasoft, Fujitsu Consulting, KPIT Cummins Infosystems, and Growel Softech Ltd, consistently strengthening talent ecosystems across IT and enterprise services sectors.
An alumnus of the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) with specialization in Human Resource Management, Ranvir combines strategic HR expertise with deep operational leadership, making him exceptionally well-positioned to lead TMGSL’s next chapter of HR transformation.
