Greater London, England, United Kingdom, May 2026 – Melrose Industries PLC has announced the appointment of Ross McCluskey as Group Chief Financial Officer, strengthening its executive leadership team as the company continues advancing its long-term aerospace growth strategy through GKN Aerospace.
Ross joins the organization with extensive listed-company leadership experience and deep expertise across finance, operations, commercial strategy, and international business management. The company noted that his broad leadership background across global organizations will support Melrose Industries PLC in further strengthening its position as a leading aerospace technology business.
Prior to joining Melrose Industries PLC, Ross McCluskey spent nearly a decade with Intertek Group plc in several senior executive leadership roles. Most recently, he served as Executive Vice President – Europe, Middle East, Africa and Government & Trade Services, overseeing regional operations and strategic business initiatives across key international markets.
Earlier at Intertek, he held the role of Executive Vice President – Europe & Central Asia, where he contributed to regional growth, operational leadership, and commercial strategy execution across diverse international businesses.
Ross also served as Group Chief Financial Officer at Intertek, leading the organization’s global finance strategy, financial governance, reporting, and operational performance initiatives. Before becoming Group CFO, he held the position of Group Financial Controller, further strengthening his expertise in financial leadership and corporate governance.
Before joining Intertek, Ross spent over five years with Inchcape plc in senior finance leadership roles. As Australasia Finance Director, he supported regional operations and business performance across the Australasian market, while earlier serving as UK Finance Director, contributing to financial management and operational leadership within the UK business.
Earlier in his career, Ross worked in investment banking and corporate finance with Greenhill & Co. as Vice President, following his earlier role as Associate at Gleacher Shacklock. He also began his professional journey with JPMorganChase as a Telecoms Equity Research Analyst.
