Arlington, Texas, United States, May 2026 – Pushpay has announced the expanded leadership role of Amanda Wherry, who is now leading Global People Team Programs and the US People & Culture function at the organization. Amanda shared that after nearly three years with the company’s People team, taking on broader responsibilities is both an honor and an exciting next step in Pushpay’s continued growth journey.
In her expanded role, Amanda will oversee strategic leadership across the US HR function, global people programs, and site operations, supporting Pushpay’s mission of fostering meaningful community connections through technology-driven engagement solutions.
At Pushpay, Amanda Wherry most recently stepped into the role of Senior Director of People & Culture, where she now leads the US HR function along with global People programs and site operations. Her responsibilities span compensation, talent management, performance management, employee relations, learning and development, recruiting, compliance, benefits, and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
Prior to this expanded leadership assignment, Amanda served as Director, People and Culture, Program Management at Pushpay, where she led global HR programs and people initiatives focused on talent management, compensation, leadership development, learning strategy, and recruiting operations.
Before joining Pushpay, Amanda held the role of Director, Talent Management at Celanese, where she led enterprise-wide organizational effectiveness and talent initiatives. Her work included leadership development, organizational design, performance management, succession planning, high-potential talent programs, and culture transformation initiatives.
Earlier, Amanda served as Director, Organizational Effectiveness at RGIS, leading company-wide organizational effectiveness programs, engagement initiatives, talent review strategies, and recruitment process transformation efforts.
She also spent nearly 12 years with Nielsen in multiple progressive HR and talent acquisition leadership roles, including Senior HR Business Partner, Human Resources Business Partner, Manager – Field Recruitment, Talent Acquisitions, and Recruiter. During her tenure, she supported large global workforces, led employee engagement and organizational transformation initiatives, managed talent acquisition strategies, and partnered closely with business leaders on workforce planning and culture development.
