Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, May 2026 – AAF (American Air Filter) EEMEA, CIS & SAARC has announced the promotion of Deepak Nanaware as Head of Operations – MEA & CIS, marking a significant leadership elevation as the company accelerates its regional growth strategy across the Middle East, Africa, and CIS markets.
As part of his expanded responsibilities, Deepak will relocate to Saudi Arabia to lead operations and strategic growth initiatives across the region. In his new role, he will focus on advancing AAF’s “Fusion 30” vision through responsible and profitable growth, stronger execution in high-growth sectors, expansion of lifecycle and aftermarket value, and enhanced cross-regional collaboration.
Commenting on the appointment, Shailesh Nigam, COO – AAF EEMEA, CIS & SAARC, stated that Deepak’s leadership reflects strong execution, accountability, and strategic alignment. As we scale in the Middle East, I am confident he will play a key role in building a resilient and growth-driven region.
Prior to this promotion, Deepak Nanaware served as Head – Engineering & Marketing (Middle East & India) at AAF (American Air Filter), where he led engineering and market expansion initiatives across strategic geographies while supporting customer-centric growth and operational excellence.
During his seven-year journey with AAF, he held multiple progressive leadership roles including Head of Engineering – Middle East & India, Senior Manager – Marketing and Business Process, and Manager – Customer Service Group and Planning & Engineering – India & SAARC. Across these positions, he contributed significantly to engineering leadership, business process optimization, customer engagement, and regional growth initiatives.
Earlier in his career, Deepak worked with FläktGroup as Manager Sales PAC – West Region, where he managed sales and customer engagement activities across the western region of India within the HVAC and air management sector.
He also held leadership and engineering roles with Vertiv, Savlon Aircon Pvt Ltd, Uniflair, Batliboi Ltd, and Wärtsilä, building deep expertise across thermal management, engineering applications, HVAC systems, operations, and customer-focused technical solutions.
Over the years, Deepak has developed strong capabilities in strategic operations, engineering leadership, customer engagement, and market expansion, particularly across industrial and mission-critical infrastructure environments.
