Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, May 2026 — Adzlan Zakaria has returned to FGV Holdings Berhad as Chief Human Capital Officer, marking a significant strategic homecoming for one of the region’s most accomplished human capital leaders.
His appointment reinforces FGV’s commitment to building a future-ready workforce aligned with the company’s long-term transformation and global growth ambitions across its diversified agribusiness operations.
Adzlan’s career reflects deep cross-sector leadership experience spanning financial services, telecommunications, industrial businesses, and large-scale enterprise transformation. Over the years, he has held leadership responsibilities across organizations including RHB Banking Group, Bank Muamalat, Telekom Malaysia, and Sime Darby, developing extensive expertise in performance management, total rewards, organizational transformation, talent strategy, leadership development, industrial relations, and HR governance.
Prior to assuming the CHRO role, Adzlan served as Head, Total Rewards Management at FGV Holdings Berhad, where he led the company’s rewards strategy for a workforce of over 55,000 employees across multiple business sectors. In this role, he managed complex industrial relations involving 17 in-house unions while partnering closely with the Board and Nomination & Remuneration Committee to drive strategic people initiatives and governance frameworks.
Earlier, he held senior HR and reward leadership roles with Bank Simpanan Nasional, Kenanga Investment Bank Berhad, and Prudential BSN Takaful Berhad, where he led enterprise-wide performance and reward frameworks, digital HR transformation, succession planning, talent mobility, leadership capability development, and employee engagement initiatives.
His earlier professional journey also includes HR leadership roles at Allianz Malaysia, The Gardens Hotel & Residences, SFR Consultants Group, and the Professional Services Development Corporation (Malaysia Ministry of Finance subsidiary), strengthening his expertise across compensation strategy, HR transformation, governance, workforce analytics, organizational development, and strategic human capital management.
At FGV, Adzlan is expected to drive a three-fold mandate focused on synchronizing performance metrics with business strategy, benchmarking against global best practices, and building a resilient, aligned, and high-performing workforce capable of supporting the company’s future-ready agenda.
