Woodland Hills, California, United States, May 2026 — The Motion Picture & Television Fund (MPTF) has appointed Kathy Adams as its new Chief Human Resources Officer, strengthening the organization’s leadership as it continues supporting the entertainment community through wellness, senior care, and employee assistance initiatives.
In her new role at MPTF, Kathy Adams will help lead the organization’s people strategy, workforce development, employee engagement, and organizational culture initiatives as the nonprofit continues expanding its mission-driven services for entertainment industry professionals.
Before joining MPTF, Adams served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Clinicas Del Camino Real Inc, where she led enterprise-wide HR transformation, organizational development, talent management, employee relations, and workforce planning across a complex multi-site healthcare environment. During her tenure, she implemented targeted engagement and leadership development initiatives that significantly reduced employee turnover and strengthened workplace culture.
Earlier, she was Chief Human Resources Officer at Clinica Sierra Vista, where she spearheaded HR restructuring, leadership development, workforce planning, and recruitment initiatives that enhanced employee engagement and operational performance.
Adams also spent over a decade with Mercyhealth Wisconsin and Illinois, serving in senior leadership roles including Senior Director of Human Resources Operations and System Organization Development and Director Education and Organizational Development. In these roles, she led large-scale workforce planning, leadership capability building, organizational development, and culture transformation programs across the healthcare system.
Earlier in her career, she served as Manager Organizational Effectiveness at Advocate Medical Group, where she led performance management, employee engagement, leadership development, and succession planning initiatives that significantly improved organizational culture and customer satisfaction outcomes.
