Gurugram, Haryana, India, May 2026 — N K Panda has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer at Gemstar Infra India Private Limited, marking a strategic leadership move as the organization continues to strengthen its infrastructure growth and operational excellence agenda. In this role, he will lead business strategy, project execution, operational management, and growth initiatives focused on sustainable expansion and long-term value creation.
Before joining Gemstar Infra India Private Limited, N K Panda served as Managing Director – India and Nepal at Maccaferri, where he led advanced civil, geotechnical, and environmental construction solutions across India and Nepal.
Earlier, he spent nearly eight years with Sterlite Power, holding senior leadership roles including Chief Business Acquisition Officer and Business Head – Convergence. During this period, he was responsible for building a strong pipeline of power transmission projects, scaling convergence business initiatives, and driving strategic growth.
He also served as Managing Director of Maharashtra Transmission Communication Infrastructure Limited, where he led the turnaround of a delayed project and helped build a new service market around OPGW fiber network infrastructure. His earlier career includes leadership and strategy roles with Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd., Telenor, Reliance Communications, SAP Labs, and Vedanta Resources.
