Cleveland, Ohio, United States, June 2026 — Patrick Finn has started a new role as Senior Director, Global Head of Talent Acquisition at Lincoln Electric. In this position, he will lead the company’s global talent acquisition strategy, recruitment operations, employer branding initiatives, talent technology transformation, and workforce planning efforts across Lincoln Electric’s worldwide operations.
With more than two decades of experience in talent acquisition, recruitment leadership, workforce strategy, employer branding, and talent operations, Patrick brings extensive expertise in building scalable recruiting organizations and developing innovative talent acquisition capabilities across multiple industries.
Prior to joining Lincoln Electric, Patrick Finn briefly served as Principal at Finn Talent Solutions, where he provided advisory support on talent acquisition strategy, niche recruiting, talent operations, and workforce planning initiatives. Before launching his consulting practice, he spent more than four years with Rockwell Automation, holding key leadership roles within the global talent acquisition function.
Most recently at Rockwell Automation, Patrick served as Director – Global Head of Talent Acquisition, leading the organization’s global recruiting strategy and helping advance talent acquisition capabilities through technology, process optimization, and workforce planning initiatives. Earlier, he held the role of Director – Talent Acquisition North America & Global Talent Acquisition Process Operations, where he was responsible for regional recruiting operations and global talent acquisition process excellence. During his tenure, he played a significant role in strengthening recruitment effectiveness and modernizing talent acquisition capabilities across the organization.
Prior to Rockwell Automation, Patrick served as Director Talent Acquisition at VillageMD, supporting talent strategies for a rapidly growing healthcare organization. Earlier, he worked with GE Healthcare as Talent Acquisition Manager, leading recruitment efforts across digital, imaging, diagnostics, and healthcare technology functions throughout the United States and Canada.
Before entering healthcare and industrial technology sectors, Patrick held leadership positions with Northwestern Mutual, where he served as Assistant Director of Talent Acquisition, Technology, Operations, University Relations & Sourcing. In this role, he successfully built and scaled recruiting teams across multiple locations, expanded engineering hiring capabilities, implemented talent relationship management technology, and strengthened diversity-focused recruitment initiatives through partnerships with leading professional communities and conferences.
His earlier career included recruitment leadership roles with Johnson Controls, Futures.co.uk, Experis UK & Ireland, Barker & Tate Ltd, and Preferred IT, where he developed deep expertise in technology recruitment, workforce solutions, consulting, executive hiring, and talent strategy. He began his professional journey as Regional Manager/Director of Youth Education and Development with Major League Soccer Camps (LA Galaxy), demonstrating leadership and team development capabilities early in his career.
