Virginia, United States, June 2026 – Care Advantage, Inc. has announced the appointment of Brittany Schwemmer as Vice President of Human Resources.
Schwemmer brings more than two decades of experience in human resources leadership, employee relations, talent management, organizational development, workforce strategy, and people operations. Her appointment further strengthens Care Advantage’s commitment to supporting its growing workforce and maintaining a people-centric culture as the organization continues to expand its healthcare services across Virginia and the Mid-Atlantic region.
Prior to joining Care Advantage, Inc., Schwemmer served as Vice President of Human Resources at Advantia Health, where she led human resources strategy and people operations for the healthcare organization. During her tenure, she supported workforce development, employee engagement, leadership initiatives, talent acquisition, and organizational effectiveness efforts.
Before Advantia Health, she spent more than three years with Greenbrook TMS NeuroHealth Centers as Vice President, Human Resources. In this role, she provided strategic HR leadership, supporting the organization’s growth, employee experience initiatives, talent management programs, and workforce planning activities.
Earlier, Schwemmer built an extensive career with National Spine & Pain Centers, where she spent nearly nine years in progressively senior human resources leadership positions. Her roles included Senior Director, Human Resources/Employee Relations, Director, Human Resources/Employee Relations, Senior Human Resources Manager, and Regional Human Resources Manager. During this period, she developed significant expertise in employee relations, talent management, organizational development, workforce engagement, performance management, compliance, and HR operations across multi-location healthcare environments.
Prior to National Spine & Pain Centers, she spent more than seven years with the American Physical Society (APS Physics), where she worked within the human resources function and gained foundational experience in HR operations, employee support, workforce administration, and organizational development.
Across her career, Schwemmer has established a strong reputation for building people-focused cultures, strengthening employee engagement, supporting organizational growth, and aligning human resources strategies with business objectives.
