Minnetonka, Minnesota, United States, June 2026 – King Technology, Inc. has announced the promotion of Nikki Setterlund to Vice President of Human Resources, recognizing her outstanding contributions and rapid progression within the organization over the past four years.
Setterlund’s promotion reflects her leadership in advancing human resources strategy, talent development, employee engagement, organizational effectiveness, and people operations as King Technology continues to grow and strengthen its culture of innovation.
Nikki Setterlund has built a strong career in human resources, organizational development, employee relations, talent management, compensation, benefits administration, and HR operations.
Since joining King Technology, Inc. in 2022 as Payroll and Benefits Specialist, she has steadily progressed through increasingly senior leadership positions. Following her initial role, she was promoted to Manager – HR Excellence, where she focused on compensation benchmarking, benefits analysis, HR process improvement, and people initiatives that supported organizational growth.
She was subsequently elevated to Senior Human Resources Manager, assuming responsibility for strategic HR leadership, workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, learning and development, compensation strategy, compliance, HR technology, analytics, and team leadership. Most recently, she served as Senior Director Human Resources, leading the company’s people strategy and organizational development efforts before being promoted to Vice President Human Resources.
Prior to joining King Technology, Setterlund served as Human Resources Generalist at LHB, where she supported talent management, employee relations, HR operations, and workforce initiatives.
Earlier in her career, she spent more than thirteen years with the Center for Energy and Environment, serving as Human Resource Generalist. During this tenure, she gained extensive experience across recruitment, employee engagement, HR administration, benefits management, performance management, compliance, and organizational support.
She began her professional journey with Datatrend Technologies as an Accounting Assistant, developing foundational business and operational experience that would later complement her HR leadership career.
