Her appointment comes at a time when private equity firms are increasingly focused on talent and culture as critical drivers of business transformation and long-term value creation.

Prior to joining Advent, Rachita spent more than six years with Visa, where she served as Head of People, India & South Asia. As a member of the regional leadership team, she led the people function for Visa’s business and corporate operations across India and South Asia. During her tenure, she played a key role in advancing talent strategies, leadership development, employee experience, workforce growth, and organizational effectiveness across one of the world’s leading payments technology companies.

Before Visa, Rachita served as Head of HR – Wholesale & Commercial Banking and CoE Lead – Campus Recruitment, Employer Branding & Diversity and Inclusion at Axis Bank. As part of the bank’s HR leadership team, she led the people agenda for more than 4,000 employees across Wholesale Banking, Commercial Banking, Treasury, and International Banking functions. She also drove the organization’s campus recruitment, employer branding, and diversity and inclusion initiatives, helping strengthen the bank’s talent pipeline and leadership capabilities.

Earlier, she spent nearly five years with Tata Motors as Talent & Organisation Effectiveness Specialist, where she gained extensive experience in talent management, organizational effectiveness, performance management, rewards, and HR communications. During her tenure, she led enterprise-wide transformation initiatives focused on performance management and organizational effectiveness, contributing to the company’s people transformation agenda.

Prior to moving into human resources leadership, Rachita worked with Tata Communications as a Product Management & Marketing Specialist, managing product strategy, new product development, and marketing initiatives within a fast-paced technology environment. She began her professional journey as a TAS (Tata Administrative Services) Management Trainee, working on strategic and marketing assignments across multiple Tata Group companies, including Tata Consultancy Services, Indian Hotels Company, Tata Global Beverages, and Tata Chemicals.

Rachita holds an MBA in Human Resources from XLRI Jamshedpur, one of India’s premier management institutions. Throughout her career, she has built a strong reputation for aligning people strategies with business priorities, driving organizational transformation, strengthening leadership capability, and creating high-performance cultures.

At Advent, she is expected to play a key role in supporting talent and culture initiatives across the Asia-Pacific region while helping portfolio companies and leadership teams build capabilities that enable sustainable growth and transformation.
