Toronto, Ontario, Canada, July 2026 — Eaglenos Sciences, Inc. has appointed Shikha Sharma as its Global Head of Portfolio Management. In her new role, she will lead the company’s portfolio management function, leveraging her extensive expertise in biosensors, diagnostics, business strategy, and healthcare innovation to support the development and commercialization of next-generation point-of-care diagnostic solutions.
Shikha brings a distinguished career spanning scientific research, medical affairs, healthcare consulting, portfolio strategy, and life sciences innovation. Prior to joining Eaglenos Sciences, she served as Engagement Manager at IQVIA in Canada, where she advised clients on strategic initiatives across the life sciences sector. Earlier, as Senior Consultant, she partnered with healthcare organizations on commercial strategy and market access initiatives, strengthening her expertise in portfolio management and business transformation.
Before transitioning into consulting, Shikha held the position of Medical Affairs Manager – Africa, Middle East, Turkey & India (AMTI) at Abbott, where she led medico-marketing strategies for point-of-care diagnostics across multiple international markets. Her responsibilities included scientific engagement with key opinion leaders (KOLs), clinical research coordination, sales force capability building, and commercialization support for innovative diagnostic technologies. She also served as Lead Analyst – Lifesciences at Tracxn, providing strategic insights into emerging healthcare technologies and innovation trends.
Earlier in her career, Shikha built a strong scientific foundation through leadership roles in research and product development. As Project Manager (Post-Doctoral Position) – PROSENSE, Marie Curie Network at the Biomedical Diagnostics Institute in Ireland, she managed a European Union-funded initiative focused on developing a point-of-care prostate cancer screening device. She also led medical affairs and new product management at Piramal Enterprises Limited, where she successfully commercialized innovative point-of-care diagnostic products. Her research journey began with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Nanobiotechnology from Jaypee University of Information Technology, where her work on nanoparticle-based glucose biosensors earned academic recognition and resulted in an Indian patent. She further strengthened her business acumen through an MBA from Deakin University, completed the VC Institute Cohort 6 at VC Lab, and pursued a Post Graduate Program in Health Economics, Health Care Financing and Policy from the Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI).
