Zurich, Switzerland – Vishaal Gupta has recently been appointed as the President of Workforce Skills at Pearson, marking a significant step in his distinguished career in the technology and services industry. Gupta brings over two decades of experience, with a proven track record in strategic deals and leadership across multiple high-profile roles.
Prior to joining Pearson, Gupta served as the Senior Managing Director and Market Maker for Strategic Deals in EMEA at Accenture, where he was responsible from December 2023 to March 2024. His brief yet impactful tenure at Accenture was preceded by significant roles within the company, including Senior Managing Director for Technology Sales, Solutions, and Ecosystem Lead in Europe, and earlier, as Managing Director for Google Cloud Platform Sales Lead for Europe.
Vishaal Gupta’s extensive experience also includes his time at Tech Mahindra as Senior Vice President, where he led Telecom and Media in Europe from October 2013 to November 2015. Before his time at Tech Mahindra, he was a Vice President at MindTree Ltd., overseeing their Communications and Consumer Products as well as heading their operations in Continental Europe.
Gupta’s career is underscored by his expertise in managing complex technology solutions and his strategic acumen in business development, which was honed over the years including pivotal roles at Unimobile Inc and earlier foundational experiences at HCL Comnet. His broad experience covers strategic growth initiatives, major technological deployments, and cultivating key client relationships across global markets.
