Gurugram, Haryana, India, July 2026 — MG Motor India has appointed Tarun Mangal as Senior Manager – Digital Marketing. Based in Gurugram, he will lead the company’s digital marketing initiatives with a focus on consumer engagement, brand visibility, digital campaigns, social media strategy, and customer engagement across digital platforms.
Tarun Mangal joins MG Motor India from Apollo Tyres Ltd, where he served as Digital Marketing Manager for approximately three years. In this role, he spearheaded digital strategy, content creation, and media planning across multiple business categories, strengthening brand visibility and enhancing consumer engagement.
Prior to that, he worked with Mercedes-Benz India Pvt. Ltd. as Lead – Social Media and ORM for nearly two years. During his tenure, he led social media strategy, content planning, promotion, influencer collaborations, digital campaigns, and customer targeting initiatives while supporting major product launches and brand events.
Earlier, Tarun spent close to four years with Kia India, progressing from Senior Associate to Assistant Manager. He played an important role in media planning, digital campaigns, website management, social media listening, content strategy, sports marketing, and the successful launch of the Kia brand in India.
Before joining Kia India, he worked with Honda Cars India Ltd as Executive, where he contributed to service marketing, digital content development, referral and customer loyalty initiatives, nationwide marketing campaigns, dealer engagement programs, and digital communication strategies.
Earlier in his career, Tarun gained professional exposure through assignments with Tripda, FH Joanneum, Ashok Grover Consulting, SolBridge International School of Business, L&T Electrical & Automation, TITBITZ Chocolates, Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, and NTPC Limited, building a strong foundation in marketing, branding, research, customer engagement, and business development.
