Rotterdam, South Holland, Netherlands, July 2026 — Sonova Group has appointed Arwin Rammeloo as Senior Director HR North Europe, expanding his leadership responsibilities to oversee Human Resources across the United Kingdom, Ireland, and the Nordic region, while also assuming regional accountability for HR in mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
In his new role, Arwin will partner with business leaders to translate strategy into people priorities, strengthen HR capabilities across North Europe, support organizational growth, and ensure that people and organizational considerations remain central to strategic business decisions, including acquisitions and post-merger integration.
Arwin assumes this position after leading Global HR Transformation at Sonova as Global Senior Director HR Transformation, where he spearheaded enterprise-wide HR transformation initiatives, operating model redesign, organizational effectiveness, and strategic change programs that supported the company’s evolving global business strategy.
Previously, he served as Corporate Director – Business Transformation, partnering with senior leadership to drive key transformation initiatives across Sonova’s retail business while also acting as HR Business Partner for the company’s global IT organization and European retail network. In this role, he focused on organizational effectiveness, talent development, employee engagement, and business transformation.
Earlier, Arwin served as HR Director at the Sonova Retail Support Center, leading HR strategy and supporting business growth across the retail organization. Simultaneously, he held the position of HR Director at Sonova Audiological Care Nederland, where he led the country’s HR function following several years as Senior HR Business Partner, supporting senior leaders, translating business strategy into HR initiatives, leading organizational restructuring, workforce planning, employee relations, and occupational health programs.
Before joining Sonova, Arwin held HR leadership roles with MediaMarkt-Saturn Nederland, Zeeman TextielSupers, and SAB Catering, gaining extensive experience in HR business partnering, organizational development, labor relations, European HR operations, and change management. He began his HR career through an internship with Sodexo Nederland, building a strong foundation in human resources and organizational support.
With nearly two decades of experience across HR transformation, organizational design, business partnering, leadership development, talent management, workforce strategy, and change leadership, Arwin brings a broad international perspective to his expanded leadership role. His appointment reflects Sonova Group’s continued focus on strengthening its regional HR capabilities while supporting strategic growth across Northern Europe.
