Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, July 2026 — Envista Holdings Corporation, a global leader in the dental industry, has appointed Varsha Jagwani as Head of Human Resources – India. In her new role, she will partner closely with the India leadership team to drive the company’s people agenda, strengthen organizational capability, build leadership pipelines, and foster a high-performance culture that supports Envista’s continued growth in one of its key strategic markets.

Varsha joins Envista from Essity, where she served as Human Resource Leader – India, leading the people strategy for the company’s commercial organization and manufacturing operations in Goa. She was responsible for aligning HR strategy with business priorities, driving workforce planning, leadership development, succession management, organizational development, employee engagement, performance management, and diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives. Her work focused on building future-ready talent capabilities while supporting both commercial and plant operations through strategic people interventions.

Before Essity, Varsha spent over seven years with BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company), progressing through roles as Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager, and Human Resources Manager. During her tenure, she partnered with business leaders across talent management, HR business partnering, organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, leadership development, performance management, and workforce planning while supporting business transformation initiatives within the healthcare technology sector.

Earlier in her career, she spent nearly six years with Wipro Infotech, where she held HR business partnering responsibilities across the BFSI and Enterprise business verticals, leading initiatives in performance management, employee engagement, talent retention, leadership support, and people development. She began her HR journey with Embee Software Pvt. Ltd., where she gained foundational experience across recruitment, HR operations, employee lifecycle management, engagement, training coordination, and HR administration.

Across nearly two decades of HR leadership experience, Varsha has developed deep expertise in HR Strategy, HR Business Partnering, Talent Management, Leadership Development, Workforce Planning, Organizational Development, Succession Planning, Employee Engagement, Performance Management, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI), Change Management, Culture Transformation, Capability Building, Manufacturing HR, Commercial HR, Employee Relations, and Strategic People Leadership.

Her appointment reinforces Envista’s commitment to strengthening its leadership capability and people-first culture as the company continues to expand its presence and innovation footprint across India.
