Singapore, July 2026 — A.P. Moller – Maersk has announced the appointment of Scott Elliott as Regional President for Asia Pacific, following his successful tenure leading the region on an interim basis since January 2026. Bringing together extensive operational, commercial, and financial leadership experience across some of the world’s most important trade corridors, Scott is well positioned to lead Maersk’s continued growth and transformation across the Asia Pacific region.
With more than three decades of experience in global transportation, logistics, supply chain management, finance, and business leadership, Scott has established himself as a highly respected executive within the logistics industry. His appointment reflects Maersk’s confidence in his ability to strengthen customer partnerships, accelerate regional growth, and support the company’s integrated logistics strategy across one of the world’s most dynamic and strategically important markets.
Scott joined A.P. Moller – Maersk in 2020 as Vice President & Chief Financial Officer – Asia Pacific, where he has played a pivotal role in driving financial performance, strategic planning, and business transformation initiatives across the region. In addition to his regional CFO responsibilities, he also served as Chief Financial Officer – Global Logistics and Services, overseeing financial leadership for one of Maersk’s key global business segments and contributing to the company’s broader transformation into an integrated logistics provider.
Prior to joining Maersk, Scott served as President and CFO of the Global Forwarding Division at Toll Group, where he led financial strategy, commercial finance, reporting, shared services, tax, and operational performance across a global logistics network. His leadership helped strengthen the division’s financial discipline and support its growth ambitions in a highly competitive logistics environment.
Before Toll Group, Scott spent more than fifteen years with CEVA Logistics, holding a series of increasingly senior leadership positions across multiple international markets. His roles included Chief Financial Officer – North America, Chief Financial Officer – Greater China, Vice President, Corporate Finance – Americas, Vice President, Commercial Finance, and Senior Director, Operations. During this period, he gained extensive experience managing large-scale logistics operations, financial planning, commercial strategy, and regional business performance across North America, Greater China, and the Americas.
Earlier in his career, Scott held finance leadership positions with TNT in Australia, the Netherlands, and the United States, progressing through roles including Director of Finance, Senior Manager Finance, and Manager of Business Analysis. He began his professional journey with Arthur Andersen & Co., where he spent more than seven years developing a strong foundation in accounting, auditing, and corporate finance.
As Regional President for Asia Pacific, Scott will lead Maersk’s operations and commercial activities across the region, working closely with customers, partners, and teams to drive growth, operational excellence, and supply chain innovation in support of global trade.
