Portland, Oregon, United States,June 2026 — Marc Junker has been elevated to the role of Regional Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for Daimler Truck North America, effective July 1, 2026. In this strategic leadership position, he will oversee cybersecurity governance, regional risk management, regulatory compliance, and security strategy across North American operations, while partnering closely with global teams to ensure a unified and resilient cybersecurity posture.
With more than 25 years of experience spanning cybersecurity, information technology, cloud architecture, infrastructure management, risk governance, and digital transformation, Marc brings extensive leadership expertise to his new role. His appointment reflects Daimler Truck North America’s commitment to strengthening cybersecurity capabilities and safeguarding critical business operations in an increasingly complex digital landscape.
Prior to this elevation, Marc served as Head of Network and Security at Daimler Truck North America, where he was responsible for overseeing network infrastructure, operational technology environments, corporate networks, and cybersecurity operations across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. In this role, he led network engineering and security teams while driving cloud integration initiatives, infrastructure modernization, and enterprise security governance.
Before joining Daimler Truck North America, Marc worked as a Cloud Consultant at Covenant Technology Solutions, where he advised executive leadership teams on Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, cloud security, digital transformation, mergers and acquisitions, and enterprise cloud strategy. His expertise in aligning technology initiatives with business objectives helped organizations improve scalability, operational efficiency, and security resilience.
Marc also spent nearly seven years at NWEA, progressing through senior leadership positions including Senior Director of Information Technology Services, Director of Information Technology Services, and Senior Infrastructure Manager, Product Engineering. During his tenure, he led large-scale IT transformation initiatives, managed multimillion-dollar budgets, oversaw mergers and acquisitions integration projects, strengthened compliance frameworks, and played a key role in achieving SOC 2 and ISO 27001 certifications.
Earlier in his career, Marc held leadership positions at Sunlight Supply, Inc., RS Medical, WaferTech, Inc., and Intel, building deep expertise across enterprise infrastructure, information security, IT operations, manufacturing technology environments, cloud services, and business continuity. Throughout his professional journey, he has consistently demonstrated a strong ability to lead complex technology organizations while driving innovation, operational excellence, and security transformation.
As Regional CISO, Marc will play a critical role in advancing Daimler Truck North America’s cybersecurity strategy, strengthening risk management practices, ensuring regulatory alignment, and supporting the organization’s continued digital evolution across North America.
