Nashville, Tennessee, United States, September 2025 — Abby Arencibia, SHRM-CP has been appointed as Vice President – Human Resources at HCA Healthcare, marking a significant step in her nearly decade-long journey with the organization. In this new role, she will oversee HR strategy and people operations at TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center, driving initiatives that align workforce excellence with HCA Healthcare’s mission of advancing patient care and community well-being.
Abby has been with HCA Healthcare for more than nine years, steadily progressing through multiple leadership roles. Most recently, she served as Senior HR Business Partner, where she partnered with business leaders to strengthen workforce culture, talent management, and organizational effectiveness. Prior to that, she was Manager – Workforce Administration, leading HR operations and process improvements at the HR Operations Center.
Her career journey also includes earlier roles within HCA Healthcare that built her expertise in employee engagement, workforce planning, and HR process management. This rich experience uniquely positions her to lead HR transformation and deliver impactful results for employees and patients alike.
