Paris, Île-de-France, France, November 2024 – Abdou Abi Georges has been appointed as the Vice President of Human Resources at QNB Group, the largest financial institution in the Middle East and Africa. In his new role, Abdou will lead human resources strategies across the group, focusing on talent acquisition, organizational development, and employee engagement, while continuing his contributions as a member of the Board of Directors for QNB France.
Abdou Abi Georges has been a vital part of QNB Group for over 17 years, bringing a wealth of expertise in human resources and strategic planning. Prior to his current role, he served as Senior Human Resources Manager for over three years, where he aligned HR strategies with business objectives and led HR initiatives in compliance with French policies and labor laws.
Before that, Abdou held the position of Senior International HR Business Partner at QNB Group for nearly eight years. He managed HR operations across 23 countries, addressing workforce planning, employee relations, and talent management in diverse cultural and geopolitical contexts, including challenging environments like Yemen, Libya, and Syria.
Earlier in his career, Abdou was the Head of HR Logistics & Vendor Management at QNB Group, where he led a team managing logistics, external vendor relationships, and employee welfare programs. He also held positions in hospitality and sales, including roles at Al Bustan Hotel & Spa, Westin Hotels & Resorts, and InterContinental Hotels Group, where he honed his skills in people management and organizational efficiency.
