Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, June 2025 – Abdullah Hefni has assumed the role of Chief Human Resources Officer at KUN Sports, marking a significant milestone in his accomplished career in human resources and organizational leadership. With over a decade of progressive HR experience across multiple sectors, Abdullah brings an in-depth understanding of HR strategy, organizational development, and people-first leadership to his new role.

Prior to this appointment, Abdullah played a pivotal role at KUN Sports as Human Resources Director, where for the past four years he led transformative HR initiatives and steered critical projects in performance management, employee engagement, compensation, and change management. He also served as Human Resources Manager, focusing on building robust HR processes, policy development, recruitment, payroll management, and organizational restructuring. Throughout his tenure, Abdullah demonstrated a proven ability to design and implement effective people practices aligned with business goals and growth.

Before joining KUN Sports, Abdullah gained invaluable experience as a Senior HR Specialist at Saudi Binladin Group, managing talent acquisition, organizational design, payroll, and compliance. His expertise in overseeing large-scale recruitment drives and aligning HR strategy with long-term business needs contributed significantly to workforce development and operational excellence. Earlier, at BAE Systems Saudi Arabia, Abdullah worked as a Human Resource & Project Management Officer, participating in HR generalist functions, policy development, regulatory compliance, and business continuity planning, all while coordinating complex multi-departmental projects.

Abdullah’s early career included recruitment and HR coordinator roles at Saudi Binladin Group and Ebtisam Contracting Establishment, where he developed a strong foundation in HR compliance, employee relations, onboarding, and legal requirements. He holds an MBA in Human Resource Management from Geneva Business School, further equipping him with advanced insights for leading high-impact HR functions.
