Delhi, India, January 2026 – Abha Bhakoo has been appointed as Director – Talent at Lightspeed India, where she will lead the firm’s talent strategy, leadership hiring, organisational capability building and people advisory initiatives across its India portfolio.
Abha Bhakoo brings over a decade of experience spanning venture capital talent leadership, executive search, organisational development and technology consulting. Prior to this appointment, she served as Vice President – Talent at Lightspeed India, where she built and scaled portfolio talent initiatives, founder hiring ecosystems and leadership advisory frameworks supporting high-growth venture-backed companies.
Earlier, she spent nearly eight years with Amrop India, progressing through roles including Associate Principal, Senior Consultant & Engagement Manager, Consultant and Associate Consultant, where she led complex executive search mandates, organisation development initiatives and research-driven leadership advisory across consumer, telecom and technology sectors.
She began her career in technology consulting as a Software Engineer at Accenture, where she worked on SAP-ABAP and BODI platforms, earning recognition for high-impact delivery and team leadership. She also gained early exposure to brand and marketing strategy as a Summer Intern at DDB Mudra Group.
