United States, February 2026 — Alexandra Serna has started a new position as Head of People Operations, US at HSBC, where she will lead people operations strategy and execution across the U.S., supporting the organization’s workforce and operational excellence in a highly regulated global financial environment.
Prior to joining HSBC, Alexandra Serna spent over a decade at Lloyds North America, most recently serving as Interim Co-Head of People and Places and Senior Vice President, Total Reward. In these leadership roles, she oversaw total rewards strategy, compensation frameworks, and people programs that supported organizational performance and employee engagement across the region.
Earlier in her career, she held multiple progressive benefits leadership roles at Healthfirst, where she managed enterprise-wide employee benefit programs, compliance frameworks, and retirement plan administration. She began her professional journey in technology and operations roles at Cushman & Wakefield and AMC Corporation, building a strong foundation in systems, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration.
