With more than 20 years of leadership experience across financial services, fintech, technology, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and innovation, Alistair Muir brings extensive expertise in digital strategy, governance, business transformation, and growth across highly regulated industries. His appointment reflects NobleOak’s commitment to enhancing board-level expertise as the company continues to evolve in an increasingly technology-driven insurance landscape.
Alistair currently serves as Non-Executive Director at Bendigo and Adelaide Bank Limited, where he chairs the Technology and Transformation Committee, providing strategic oversight on technology, innovation, and enterprise transformation initiatives. He is also a Non-Executive Director at Helia Group Limited, a member of the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) Consultative Panel, and Managing Director of Vanteum, a strategic advisory firm focused on innovation and growth. Through Vanteum, he has advised numerous ASX 50 and Fortune 500 organisations on launching and scaling digital products, customer-focused ventures, and technology-enabled business models.
A recognised leader in artificial intelligence and data-driven transformation, Alistair has spent more than 12 years working with AI-enabled businesses, helping organisations leverage emerging technologies to accelerate innovation, improve customer experiences, and deliver sustainable business growth. He holds a Bachelor of Computer Science, has completed executive education programmes at Harvard Business School and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD).
