Dubai, United Arab Emirates, April 2026 — Abhishek Ashat has started a new chapter as Head of Marketing – Middle East, North Africa & Russia at Himalaya Wellness Company, bringing extensive experience across brand strategy, consumer products, beauty and personal care, go-to-market strategy, category growth, P&L ownership, product innovation, consumer insights, and international market expansion.
In his new role at Himalaya Wellness Company, Abhishek Ashat will lead brand and marketing strategy across three high-growth regions: Middle East, North Africa, and Russia. He will oversee the Face Care, Personal Care, and Baby categories, with responsibility for driving consumer engagement, brand equity, and commercial growth across diverse markets where Himalaya has built deep consumer trust over decades.
Before taking on this role, Abhishek served as General Manager Marketing – Beauty and Personal Care at Himalaya Wellness Company, where he managed a ₹1,300+ crore segment with market leadership. His responsibilities included product development, market positioning, end-to-end business operations, category growth strategy, innovation, P&L ownership, marketing, consumer insights, cross-functional collaboration, team development, analytics-led decision-making, sustainability, and compliance.
Earlier, Abhishek worked as Brand Marketing Head at The Good Glamm Group, where he led brand marketing for The Moms Co, Sirona, and BabyChakra. His work covered revenue and profit growth, marketing campaigns, IP development, new product launches, international market expansion, and brand-building initiatives across consumer and personal care categories.
Prior to this, Abhishek served as Senior Brand Marketing Manager at Reckitt, where he worked on brands including Mortein and Finish. His role involved revenue growth, profitability improvement, innovation, purpose-led campaigns, market penetration strategies, and strategic partnerships.
Abhishek also held brand leadership roles at Britannia Industries Limited, where he managed Britannia Good Day and Britannia 5050, leading brand strategy, P&L management, consumer campaigns, and category growth. Earlier, he worked with The Kraft Heinz Company across brand management and sales, including work on Complan, Complan NutriGro, Complan Memory, and Heinz Multigrain Drink.
Abhishek holds an MBA in Finance and Marketing from Indian Institute of Management Lucknow, adding strong business and marketing depth to his leadership journey.
