Dhaka, Bangladesh, July 2025 – Aflatun Kaisar has taken on a new role as Head of People at Augmedix Bangladesh, marking a significant milestone in his career as a human capital leader in the technology and healthcare ecosystem. In this new capacity, he will lead talent strategy, culture, and HR operations to support the company’s mission of transforming healthcare delivery through ambient AI and data-driven medical documentation.
Prior to this, Aflatun Kaisar served for over four years as Chief of People Care at Kona Software Lab Ltd., where he led a comprehensive transformation of the HR function. His work included implementing the OKR performance system, launching a structured career ladder, enhancing HR branding, and driving the adoption of the 9-Grid model and CFR process. He played a pivotal role in building a strong L&D culture and attracting top tech talent in Bangladesh.
Before KonaSL, Aflatun held the role of Chief People Officer at Sheba.xyz, where he introduced an OKR-based performance management system and led major talent acquisition and development initiatives. He was also instrumental in building one of the strongest management teams in Bangladesh’s startup ecosystem during his tenure.
Earlier, he was Head of Human Resources at Shohoz and Daraz Bangladesh, where he played regional and strategic roles, overseeing recruitment, PMS systems, training, and employer branding initiatives. His efforts included implementing HR software, leadership development programs, and performance appraisal systems integrated with HRIS.
He began his HR leadership journey with Asrotex Group and Otobi, where he gained extensive experience in performance management, policy development, training programs, compensation design, and succession planning. Across these roles, he demonstrated deep expertise in aligning HR strategy with business goals, particularly in fast-scaling organizations.
