Zahran brings a wealth of experience to Basamh Group, having cultivated a distinguished career spanning more than a decade in various HR leadership roles. Before joining Basamh Group, he contributed significantly to the Public Investment Fund (PIF) as a Nomination & Remuneration Committee Member, overseeing HR policies and compensation strategies that aligned with the company’s goals and values.
Previously, as Chief People Officer at HungerStation, Zahran was instrumental in driving HR initiatives that supported the company’s rapid growth and operational excellence. His tenure at Kimberly-Clark as Human Resources Director for the GCC region further highlighted his ability to implement effective HR strategies in multinational environments, enhancing organizational culture and employee engagement.
Zahran’s experience at Nestlé, where he held multiple roles including Country Human Resources Manager for Saudi Arabia, underscores his deep understanding of HR management in the FMCG sector. During his time at Nestlé, he led HR operations that supported business objectives, from compensation and benefits management to HR shared services and talent development.
Earlier in his career, Zahran developed foundational skills and knowledge through roles at HSBC and in the biotech industry, where he focused on sales and market development. His journey reflects a consistent track record of HR excellence and strategic leadership that has contributed to the growth and success of every organization he has been part of.
